Chief Financial Officer Mr. Caskey told the board that a state Request for Application (RFA) survey seeking stakeholder input on the public school funding formula was distributed to members and urged them to respond by July 7.

Caskey said the RFA survey is intended to gather input specifically about "inequities identified between the traditional and the charter school student weightings" and stressed it was important the legislature receive clear stakeholder feedback. He said he had forwarded the survey to each board member and offered to answer questions about it.

The board did not take formal action on the survey during the meeting; Mr. Caskey asked members to complete and submit responses by the stated deadline.
