Community Development staff announced at the Oct. 6 North Aurora Village Board meeting that the new CloudPermit online permitting system is live on the village website and available to applicants.

"Our new, online permitting system Cloud Permit is up and running and on the website," a Community Development representative said, noting staff had tested the system over the last few months and reached out to several contractors to file test permits. The presenter added that paper forms and PDFs remain available in the office for those who prefer to apply in person.

Staff said a few contractors that regularly file permits have submitted test applications and the system is functioning. No vote was required for the administrative announcement.
