The Ponderosa preliminary plat hearing was continued by the Morgan County Planning Commission on Oct. 9, 2025 to Dec. 11, 2025 at the applicant’s request while the applicant completes administrative appeals related to the project.

Staff told the commission the applicant had earlier expected modifications to the drawings and had asked to be on the Oct. 9 agenda in anticipation of approval; when the applicant did not submit the updated drawings before the deadline and indicated it would pursue appeals, staff requested a continuance so the county would not re‑notice the hearing prematurely.

The commission and staff discussed the appeals process and noted the hearings officer assigned to the appeal is Craig Call; staff has provided Call with the documents he needs but an appeals hearing has not been scheduled. Commissioners asked staff to coordinate with the hearings officer and to set the continuance for the first meeting in December so the county can reassess timing later.

Member King moved to continue the Ponderosa preliminary plat to the Dec. 11, 2025 Planning Commission meeting; Member McMillan seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
