Paul Barnhart was appointed as the Fourth District planning commissioner during the Warren County Board of Supervisors working session on Oct. 14, 2025. A motion was made and seconded; the board approved the appointment by roll call.

The board took the action after a brief exchange in which a current planning commission member announced a resignation and a candidate nomination followed. The roll-call vote recorded affirmative votes by Mrs. Cullors, Mr. Stanmeyer, the board chairman, Dr. Jamieson and Hugh Henry.
