At its June 10 meeting the Alabama State Board of Education unanimously approved resolutions to extend or approve educator-preparation programs at multiple institutions and adopted changes to the Alabama Administrative Code governing educator preparation and public school governance.

Trustees moved and seconded motions for approvals of educator-preparation programs for Auburn University at Montgomery, Huntington College, Jackson State University, Talladega College, Troy University and the University of North Alabama; each motion passed by unanimous raised-hand vote recorded in the meeting minutes.
