The Adams County Highway Committee on Oct. 9 approved a resolution recognizing Randy Peterson for more than 20 years of service with the highway department.

Pat, highway department staff, presented the resolution and said Peterson had worked in snow plowing operations, major culvert repairs, road construction and maintenance and recent paint-line operations. “Well deserved. And congratulations to Randy, and, hope he has a very good retirement,” Pat said.

Committee members spoke in support. Scott called Peterson “a jack of all trades,” and other committee members offered thanks and best wishes. A motion to approve the recognition resolution was made, seconded and carried on a voice vote.
