Board unanimously ratifies high-school curriculum, salary schedules and educator declarations

The Bear Valley Unified School District board voted unanimously to ratify the high-school curriculum adoption, administrative and certificated salary schedules, and the annual declaration of need for fully qualified educators for the 2025–26 school year, and approved a variable-term waiver for 2025–26.

During the meeting the board took the items in sequence. For each item the record shows a motion, a second and the vote: “All in favor. Aye. None opposed.” The meeting transcript does not record individual roll-call votes or the names of the members who made each motion or second.

The approvals complete routine start-of-year personnel and compliance steps: ratifying curriculum for high school courses, confirming salary schedules for certificated and administrative employees, and establishing the district’s declaration of need that allows hiring of fully qualified educators and use of waivers where authorized.

Board members did not raise objections during the recorded motions. The district will implement the approved schedules and waivers for the 2025–26 year as part of standard operations.
