Ocean Shores health clinic nears interior finish as drywall inspection set

Ocean Shores public works staff said construction of the new health clinic is on schedule, with a final drywall inspection and interior painting set to begin this week.

The update said hospital IT staff will start installing IT drops likely next week. Staff also reported the building landlord, Jackie Fisher, will manage the flooring work and is being connected with the general contractor, Joe Christiansen Construction, to obtain a flooring proposal.

The clinic update was presented as part of the Public Works Committee meeting’s project reports; council members in attendance said they had toured the site and were pleased with progress. No formal action or vote was recorded on the clinic at the meeting.

Staff did not provide an expected opening date for the clinic during the update.
