The Canfield Local Board of Education unanimously adopted Policy 2460 on Oct. 8, aligning the district’s special-education policies with the model policies and procedures published by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.

The superintendent recommended adoption to meet state operating standards for agencies serving children with disabilities; the treasurer’s office confirmed the district elected to adopt the department’s model policy set. Board members voted by roll call to approve the policy.
