The commission discussed a proposal that includes a 110 square foot reduction and an interior remodel of the second story, alongside a 933 square foot addition to the lower floor of the existing two-story home.

The project, located in the Millbrae Highlands neighborhood, is situated on a corner lot and is currently zoned for single-family residential use. The proposed modifications aim to enhance the home while addressing existing nonconforming upper story side setbacks. The design features a contemporary style with horizontal siding on the second story and a stucco finish on the first, along with a new street tree to be planted in the front yard.

During the meeting, it was noted that all six neighboring properties expressed support for the project, with one neighbor requesting that construction work trucks be kept off their side of the block during nighttime hours.
