Commission members expressed enthusiasm about sharing a booth with the Historical Society during Potato Days, scheduled for October 4. One member noted, “I’ll be in the historical society booth from 12 to 3,” highlighting the potential for a joint effort. They agreed to reach out to the Historical Society to confirm the arrangement, with one member stating, “It doesn’t hurt to ask.”

For First Friday, which is already confirmed, the commission is actively seeking volunteers to help manage their booth. However, several members indicated they would be unavailable due to prior commitments. “I can’t because I’ve got to do a historical society thing,” one member said, while another mentioned a medical appointment. The group is hopeful that Meredith, another member, will be able to assist and plans to reach out to her for confirmation.
