City Prepares for Casitas Navidenas Installation at City Hall

During the recent City of Nogales meeting on September 3, 2025, officials announced plans for the upcoming Casitas Navidenas event, set to take place on November 13 and 14. This year, five festive casitas will be displayed at City Hall, representing various city departments, including Parks and Recreation, Housing, the Library, and the Police Department.

The event aims to enhance community engagement during the holiday season. However, there is a growing demand for additional casitas, as many community members expressed interest in participating. To address this, a proposal was made to allocate funds from the budget to purchase three more casitas, each costing approximately $700 based on last year's expenses.
