This program allows individuals to wear a sunflower lanyard, signaling to airport staff that they require assistance, whether due to low visibility or hearing impairments.

Hazel, a representative from the airport, highlighted the program's importance and detailed the ongoing efforts to enhance accessibility. She mentioned the inclusion of sensory rooms in the new terminal expansion, aimed at providing a calming space for travelers with sensory sensitivities.

Tim O'Conley, the airport's deputy director, elaborated on the collaborative design process that involved over 35 community representatives.
