Coral Gables Honors Dolly McIntyre for Historic Preservation Legacy

The City Commission of Coral Gables honored the late Frances Dolley McIntyre during its recent meeting, recognizing her significant contributions to the community and historic preservation. McIntyre, who passed away, was celebrated for her nearly 60 years of dedicated service, particularly as a charter member of the Villagers, a historic preservation group founded in 1966.

Throughout her life, McIntyre received numerous accolades for her work, including the Dade Heritage Trust Henriette Harris Award and the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation Distinguished Service Award.
