Stafford Municipal School District (SMSD) Superintendent Dr. Bostic delivered an emotional farewell during the recent joint meeting of the Stafford City Council and SMSD Board of Trustees, marking his final budget presentation after 12 years of service. Dr. Bostic expressed gratitude to the community, teachers, and parents, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and high standards as the district prepares for new leadership.

In his heartfelt remarks, Dr. Bostic encouraged the board to maintain high expectations for the next superintendent, highlighting the interest from 82 candidates statewide. He underscored the collective effort that has shaped SMSD, stating, “It is not me. It's we.” His commitment to the community was evident as he reflected on his time in Stafford, stating, “I love the children. I love the community.”
