Students at Concord High School were buzzing with excitement during the recent career fair, which showcased the strong partnership between the school and local businesses. With nearly 50 businesses and 100 career professionals participating, the event provided students with a wealth of potential job opportunities.

This year, the fair introduced a new approach by inviting businesses to engage with students beyond the event itself. Organizers reached out to local companies to explore various ways they could support students, such as hosting field trips, serving as guest presenters, or participating in virtual Q&A sessions. The response was overwhelming, with 16 businesses offering workplace tours and 32 agreeing to speak in classrooms.

The fair, which ran from 9 AM to 1 PM, saw significant foot traffic and engagement. Teachers reported positive feedback, noting that the event fostered meaningful connections between students and professionals. One math teacher highlighted that she made four new contacts simply by networking at the fair.

This initiative not only enhances students' learning experiences but also strengthens ties between the school and the community, paving the way for future collaborations. As the school looks ahead, the success of this year's career fair sets a promising foundation for continued partnerships that benefit both students and local businesses.
