Students from Jamestown and Devil's Lake showcased their musical talents during a recent trip to Disney, leaving a lasting impression on both participants and audience members. The highlight of the trip was a performance at Disney Springs, where students played a medley from "Frozen" and other pieces they had been practicing since fifth grade.

Erin, a music instructor, expressed pride in the students' abilities to perform complex pieces on short notice. "They put all that to use," she said, emphasizing the skills they developed over the years. The performance attracted a sizable audience, despite the informal setting where spectators gathered in shaded areas.

The trip also included recreational activities, with students enjoying time at Cocoa Beach and shopping at Downtown Disney. Erin noted the safety measures in place, stating, "I believe that doing a Disney trip is the safest trip you can do," highlighting the security provided by Disney.

In total, 29 students participated in the trip, supported by several chaperones, including families from both schools. The collaboration between Jamestown and Devil's Lake was praised, with Erin expressing gratitude for the school's support in making the trip possible.
