During the city council meeting on June 24, 2025, council members authorized staff to proceed with the purchase of approximately 11.69 acres from Transco Management Group LLC. This land will support the development of the Pat Halsey Bay Colony Park project, a crucial initiative aimed at expanding community green spaces and recreational opportunities.
