Among the most notable decisions was the approval of a $3.7 million project for Barrow Street, which stretches from South Second to South Eleventh. This section is recognized as a critical thoroughfare, serving as a vital inlet and outlet for local traffic, particularly near HEB, a popular shopping destination. Additionally, the board discussed the College Heights area, which has been on the maintenance list for three years.
