Blair County Board Approves Agricultural Conservation Easement for 236 Acres

After a thorough review of costs, it was determined that outsourcing food services could save the county approximately $300,000 annually. In addition to agricultural and correctional matters, the commissioners approved several agreements and grant applications, including a $37,950 hazardous materials emergency preparedness grant and a $819,587 community development block grant. As the meeting progressed, discussions also touched on various service agreements, including a partnership with New Life Adolescents LLC for youth services and an agreement with Mason Hospital for occupational health services.
