Dalton Celebrates Successful Internship Program with Mayor House and Community Leaders

In the village of Dolton, opportunity and mentorship flourished this summer as ten young students participated in a community-backed internship program. These interns took on real roles, providing valuable support across various departments, including Village Hall, the Police Department, and the Water Department. Their responsibilities ranged from organizing records to data entry, showcasing professionalism and a strong eagerness to learn.

To honor their contributions, the village hosted a special closing event at Saint Patrick's Rooftop and Steakhouse, one of Dolton's premier venues. The celebration featured a guided tour of the facility, a delicious buffet, and heartfelt recognition from community leaders. Mayor Jason House, Clerk Lisonbee Key, and Doctor John Long presented each intern with a certificate of completion, expressing gratitude for their hard work and commitment to personal growth.
