"To find a group that wants to restore the historic value while also bringing housing to Abilene is a good thing," Benham stated, referencing the successful renovation of the former Travis Elementary School into Landmark.

One member remarked, "Anything that we can do to continue to promote our city, promote downtown, is a positive."
