The Parks and Recreation Commission of Red Bluff City convened on July 8, 2025, to discuss various updates and upcoming events related to community activities and park maintenance.

The meeting began with a report on the recent success of the Main Street Deli, which secured first place in a local competition. Following this, the commission highlighted the conclusion of the grass volleyball season, with awards set to be distributed to the winners the following day.

The city manager coordinated with Greenwaste for increased trash disposal following the back-to-back events held over the holiday weekend.

Additionally, the commission noted that parts for swings at Ford Park are scheduled for installation the next morning. A dead tree was recently removed from Trainer Park, and there are plans to address a leaning tree near the proposed site for a new play structure.
