Construction of Path 400 Progresses in Sandy Springs with Pile Driving Next to Georgia 400

In a recent update on the PATH 400 project in Sandy Springs, construction crews are making significant progress with pile driving activities alongside Georgia 400. This phase of the project involves the installation of approximately 90 piles, which will support a pedestrian bridge designed to run parallel to the highway. The piles are being driven deep into the ground, with some reaching depths of up to 60 feet.

Currently, the project is in its early stages, focusing on segments 1 and 3. Segment 1 extends from Lord and Strath to Windsor Parkway, while segment 3 runs from Ridgeview Park to Glenridge Connector. The completion of these segments is expected to take about three years.

Looking ahead, segment 2, which will connect the first two segments, is scheduled to begin construction next summer and is also projected to take around three years to finish. This ambitious project aims to enhance pedestrian access and connectivity in the Sandy Springs area, reflecting the city's commitment to improving infrastructure for its residents.
