School District Hosts Three-Day Leadership Conference for K-12 Educators

A dynamic professional leadership conference took center stage at the Paulding County School District Board of Education meeting, showcasing a collaborative effort to enhance instructional leadership across the district. The conference spanned three days, with each day tailored to different educational leaders: K-12, elementary, and secondary.

The initiative aimed to empower school leaders by allowing them to choose sessions aligned with their personal growth and school improvement goals. While most sessions were optional, certain critical topics, such as legal updates, were mandatory to ensure all leaders are well-informed.

The conference was supported by 27 local sponsors, who provided food and resources, emphasizing the district's commitment to supporting local businesses. Over the three days, attendees consumed more than 800 bottles of water and over a thousand cups of coffee, highlighting the event's vibrant atmosphere.

This conference not only aimed to strengthen leadership skills but also fostered a sense of community among educators, setting a positive tone for the upcoming school year.
