Price noted that the car wash would generate an estimated 1.8 million gallons of industrial waste annually, necessitating multiple tanker truck trips each week to dispose of the waste in Greensboro. Residents expressed fears that the proposed stormwater management system, which would be situated close to residential properties, could lead to further environmental degradation, including soil saturation and tree falls.
