His high school career included winning a national championship with Montverde Academy and earning accolades such as McDonald's All-American and Jordan Brand Classic MVP.

In college, McNeely continued to excel, leading the University of Connecticut Huskies as their top scorer while maintaining a 3.9 GPA and being named the 2025 Big East Freshman of the Year. His dedication and work ethic have made him a role model for young athletes in the community.
