The town is also working on adopting a voluntary energy conservation stretch code and promoting dark sky lighting through local nonprofit efforts.

Looking ahead, the council plans to present the first ecosystem health indicator report in the upcoming workshop, which will assess environmental conditions related to light pollution, air quality, and water quality. They also anticipate further developments in electric vehicle charging infrastructure and ongoing efforts to enhance recycling capabilities.
