One member proposed a $5,000 contribution, emphasizing the potential for local businesses to sponsor additional pots, thereby expanding the initiative. “It’d be great ideally if we could have a multitude of businesses with lots of pots in front of their businesses,” they noted, highlighting the collaborative spirit of the project.

Melissa Gwen, a member of the commission, introduced another exciting idea: establishing a community band in Huber Heights. Drawing from her experience managing a library event, she advocated for the cultural enrichment that a community band could bring to the city.
