Teton County officials have approved a significant contract for the 2025 pathways sealing and asphalt repair project, ensuring the maintenance of approximately 10 miles of local pathways. During a recent meeting, the county commissioners unanimously voted to contract R&D Sweeping for the project at a cost of $186,733.82, which aligns with the budgeted amount of around $190,000. The work is expected to take about a week to ten days, with intermittent closures to minimize disruption for the public.

In addition to the pathway project, the meeting also provided updates on the Stilson Transit Center construction. The newly completed Beckley Parkway has opened up additional parking spaces, increasing capacity from around 50 to approximately 300. Current efforts are focused on installing utilities and paving the new parking area, which is anticipated to be ready by September, just in time for the winter ski season.

Vertical construction for the new transit facility has also commenced, with footings and concrete walls being installed. The project remains on track for completion by June, with plans for several stormwater retention ponds to be integrated into the site, ensuring proper drainage and maintenance.
