Investments in local streets, sidewalks, and bike lanes are planned to improve overall infrastructure, with only one intersection identified as failing to meet service standards during peak hours.

Housing density was another focal point, with 41% of comments highlighting the need for more housing units. The council's action alternative proposes a density of 25.5 units per acre, compared to 12.7 units per acre under the no-action alternative. This increase is part of a broader strategy to accommodate growth while ensuring adequate infrastructure is in place.

Concerns regarding school capacity were also raised, with projections indicating a 15% decline in enrollment in the Lake Washington School District by 2035. The council emphasized the importance of ongoing collaboration with the district to ensure that school capacity aligns with community growth.

Environmental impacts were addressed, with 19% of comments focusing on this issue. The council pointed to a 2023 study indicating that development in the town center would improve stormwater management, countering previous unmanaged conditions. New landscape regulations promoting drought-tolerant and native species are also in the works.

Finally, the council discussed emergency services and evacuation plans, noting that the city can be evacuated in approximately four hours and 40 minutes, with ongoing coordination with local fire districts to enhance public safety.
