Phoenix Water Conservation Institute Launches Volunteer Water Wrangler Training Program

The Phoenix Water Conservation Institute held its inaugural volunteer training session on July 18, 2025, focusing on "Water 101" as part of the Water Wrangler program. The session aimed to equip volunteers with essential knowledge about water conservation in Phoenix, addressing the impacts of drought and water shortages on the city's water supply.

Lara Van Lyth, the volunteer coordinator and water resource specialist for the City of Phoenix, led the training.
