Huber Heights council approves Abbotford Homes rezoning for Fishburg Road development

The Huber Heights Planning Commission convened on July 15, 2025, to discuss significant developments in the city, including a rezoning request and a detailed development plan for a new coffee kiosk.

The meeting began with the approval of a rezoning application from Abbotford Homes for a property located at 4460 Fishburg Road. This plan, which mirrors the previously approved basic development plan, includes a 510 square foot building and a 277 square foot walk-in cooler. The kiosk will operate solely as a drive-thru, with no indoor or outdoor seating. The site plan was praised for its landscaping and efficient vehicle queuing system, which can accommodate up to 14 cars. The commission unanimously recommended approval of the detailed development plan, emphasizing that it meets all zoning code requirements.
