Sunnyvale welcomes Lily Clark as town's first Human Resources Director

In 2017, she was honored as the Bridal Builder of the Year by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People for her efforts in strengthening community relationships. Her leadership skills were again acknowledged in 2019 with another Cabinet Award, this time for her work in managing the police chief selection process. Most recently, in 2023, she received the Team Garland Leadership Award, a testament to her dedication and impact in her previous role.

As she took the stage, Clark expressed her gratitude and excitement about her new position in Sunnyvale. "I am honored to be the first human resources director here for the town of Sunnyvale," she said, looking forward to collaborating with the community and leading the workforce.
