Teton County honors staff with awards for teamwork, positivity, excellence, innovation, and service

The Teton County government meeting on July 14, 2025, celebrated outstanding contributions from local employees through a series of awards recognizing teamwork, positivity, excellence, innovation, and service.

The meeting highlighted the importance of collaboration and respect within the community. Eva Dahlgren, the manager of the Alta Branch Library, received the Collaboration Award for her dedication to staff and patrons. Dahlgren has been praised for her extensive programming, including music, art, and wellness classes, as well as her ability to engage children during storytime. Her efforts to streamline library procedures and foster partnerships with the Valley of the Tetons Library were also noted.

The Positivity Award was presented to Andre Sneland, the deputy county clerk, who is recognized for his unwavering positive attitude and willingness to assist colleagues. His commitment to customer service and support for his team has made him a valued member of the clerk's office.

Chandler Windham, a senior planner, received the Excellence Award for her ability to simplify complex planning processes for the public and her colleagues. Windham's thoroughness, knowledge, and approachable demeanor have made her an essential resource for Teton County.

Logan Edgemond, the recreation supervisor, was honored with the Innovation Award for his creative programming at the climbing gym and his efforts to enhance staff engagement. His positive mindset and commitment to community-building have contributed to a welcoming atmosphere at the facility.

Finally, the Service Award went to Dan Bierman, the parks manager, who has stepped up during a busy season with reduced staff. Bierman's hard work and positive attitude have ensured that the community continues to receive high-quality parks and services, even during challenging times.
