Young Professionals Forum launches in DFW Metroplex to discuss career growth and impact

A new initiative aimed at empowering young professionals in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is set to launch this summer. The Economic Development Corporation (EDC) is hosting a Young Professionals Forum on July 31, from 6 to 8 PM, at the Civic Center's Bluebonnet Room.

Intern Keith, who is working under EDC leaders Antoine and Matt, shared details about the forum during a recent meeting. The event will focus on three key pillars: career growth, networking, and local impact, with a special emphasis on real estate and economic development.

Attendees can look forward to insights from notable panelists, including Maggie Parker. The forum will also feature catering from Chick-fil-A, with meals available on a first-come, first-served basis. Currently, there are 58 registrants, but only 50 meals scheduled, highlighting the growing interest in this opportunity.

Keith encouraged attendees to mark their calendars and consider inviting young staff members who may benefit from the event. This forum represents a significant step in fostering professional development and community engagement among the next generation of leaders in the DFW Metroplex.
