Lago Vista plans to hire David Montgomery Scott as new parks director

In a recent meeting of the Lago Vista Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee, discussions highlighted the urgent need for increased staffing in the local parks department. Mister West, a committee member, shared plans to enhance staffing levels, indicating that an offer has been made to David Montgomery Scott, a local resident and interim parks director from California. In the meantime, to address immediate staffing shortages, an employee was temporarily reassigned from the streets department to assist with park maintenance tasks such as mowing and cleaning.
