District Attorney Steffen updates San Diego on Proposition 36 implementation impact

The City of Carlsbad is taking significant steps to address homelessness and drug addiction following the implementation of Proposition 36, also known as the Homeless Drug Addiction and Theft Reduction Act. Since its enactment in December, the Carlsbad Police Department has reported a total of 46 arrests related to the measure.
