Parkland City Commission enacts ordinance against electric bikes in parks for safety

Additionally, the commission unanimously passed an ordinance to amend the community automated external defibrillator (AED) and bleeding control kit program. This amendment aligns local regulations with Florida's building and fire prevention codes, enhancing public safety measures in the community.

The meeting also highlighted the importance of community engagement, with the Coral Springs Parkland Fire Department encouraging residents to participate in upcoming events, such as the Hometown Hero Night, aimed at fostering relationships between emergency services and the community.
