City Commission approves mural installation at Highwaymen Museum

The Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency (FPRA) held a regular meeting on July 8, 2025, where several key agenda items were discussed and approved. However, Mayor Hudson requested to pull items E, F, and H for further discussion, while another commissioner requested to pull item G. The remaining items A, B, C, and D were approved unanimously.

One of the highlighted discussions involved a recommendation from the Arts and Cultural Advisory Board. The board proposed issuing a call for artists to evaluate submissions for a public art installation—a mural on the FPRA-owned Highwaymen Museum building. This initiative aims to enhance the cultural landscape of Fort Pierce and promote local artists.
