Staff members recommended approval of the proposal. The applicants, Mario and Jeanette San Roman, addressed the commission, stating they had engaged with neighbors and received support from the church across the street, as well as additional signatures from nearby residents. They acknowledged the opposition but clarified that those concerns came from individuals outside the designated notification area.
