Anchor Bay School District is making significant strides in its ongoing construction projects, with multiple facilities nearing completion. During the regular board meeting on June 25, 2025, updates were provided on various renovations and improvements across the district.

The engineering wing, which includes the band hallway and practice room, is in its final stages and awaiting inspection. The new weight room is also progressing well, with flooring installation underway. The media center is undergoing demolition and renovation, with new lighting and ceiling work in progress.

In addition to these updates, the board discussed improvements to science classrooms and life skills facilities at Bridal School North, where new cabinetry and heating systems are being installed. The fifth-grade hallway is being expanded to create larger classrooms, enhancing the learning environment for students.

The construction team is also addressing issues such as mismatched tiles in the auto shop and restaurant area, which have been rectified. Despite challenges posed by recent heavy rainfall, the projects are on track, with a goal to complete demolition and renovations by early July and finalize all work by August 20.
