A major highlight of the meeting was the passage of Assembly Concurrent Resolution 169, which calls for emergency funding and increased staffing at Newark Liberty International Airport. Sponsored by Assembly members Calabrese, Carter, and Karabinchek, the resolution received overwhelming support, passing with 77 votes in favor, none against, and two abstentions.

Additionally, Assembly Joint Resolution 128, introduced by Assemblywoman Murphy, was approved, designating August of each year as American Artist Appreciation Month in New Jersey. This resolution also garnered strong support, with 76 votes in favor.
