Marlboro Central School District (MCSD) celebrated a vibrant month of holiday activities and student achievements during the Board of Education meeting on December 19, 2024. The meeting highlighted various events across the district, showcasing the community's commitment to fostering a spirited and inclusive environment for students.

The elementary school recently hosted a successful winter concert on December 17, where students showcased their musical talents. In addition to the concert, students engaged in a month-long exploration of global Christmas traditions, including building gingerbread houses. The school also participated in a festive holiday cheer week, featuring themed days such as Grinch Day and Polar Express Day, culminating in a school-wide sing-along on December 20.

At the middle school, the select chorus performed on local radio station Q92, and the school held its own concert on December 11. Students celebrated the season with daily spirit days, concluding with an "ugly sweater" day. The middle school band and chorus are set to perform an in-school concert for faculty and students on December 20.

The high school also marked the season with a winter concert on December 10, which was well-received by attendees. The National Honor Society organized a blood drive on December 13, demonstrating the students' commitment to community service. Additionally, the high school hosted an arena elective fair, allowing students to explore various course options and engage with different subjects.

The meeting underscored the district's dedication to creating a supportive and engaging educational environment, with students actively participating in both academic and extracurricular activities.
