Fulshear's Economic Development Corporation (EDC) made significant strides during its special meeting on June 30, 2025, focusing on key infrastructure projects aimed at supporting the city's growth. A major highlight was the discussion surrounding the Katy Foster lift station, which is seen as a crucial element for enhancing downtown development and economic benefits.

The EDC is also moving forward with the construction of the Cross Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant expansion, which will add another million gallons of capacity.
