The Parkrose School District 3 held a working session on June 27, 2025, focusing on student achievements and community recognition. The meeting commenced with a warm welcome, acknowledging the hot weather and the presence of attendees.

The session began with the recognition of Parker's Middle School students. Eighth grader Renee Bray Marsh was celebrated for his acceptance into the Oregon Music Educators Association Middle School All State Band, where he performed on tuba alongside approximately 100 other talented students from across the state.

The meeting also highlighted the accomplishments of the eighth-grade boys basketball team, which completed an undefeated season. Additionally, the seventh and eighth-grade track and field teams were recognized for qualifying for district competitions, with the seventh-grade boys team achieving first place.

Following these recognitions, the focus shifted to Parkrose High School. Assistant Principal Ryan Geiger expressed gratitude for the community's support and praised the athletic department for their outstanding performance throughout the year. He emphasized the hard work and dedication of the students and staff, noting that their efforts had significantly contributed to the school’s success.
