The Tehachapi Weekend Update for June 26, 2025, highlighted a variety of local events and activities aimed at engaging the community. The podcast, hosted by Key Budge, provided listeners with a rundown of happenings in and around downtown Tehachapi.

West Lane Brewing is open for business on Fridays from 4:30 PM to 9 PM and Saturdays from 2 PM to 10 PM. They also host a tap takeover at Kelsey’s during the farmer's market every Thursday from 4 PM to 7 PM. LCB is open daily, featuring trivia nights on Wednesdays and open mic nights on Thursdays.

The Stray Leaves Vineyard Tasting Room welcomes visitors Thursday through Saturday from 3 PM to 8 PM, and Sundays during the summer from 11 AM to 4 PM. La Bodega de Castilla offers a selection of wines and charcuterie boards, operating from 5 PM to 10 PM on Thursdays and Fridays, and 2 PM to 10 PM on weekends.

The weekly Farmer's Market continues every Thursday until August 14, featuring live music and local vendors. The Tehachapi Community Theatre Association's production of "Bridal Live" runs through June 29 at the BK Theater, with tickets available at the box office or online.

Upcoming events include the Tehachapi Amateur Radio Association's summer field day training at Bear Valley's High Country Park, and a job fair hosted by the Chamber of Commerce on June 28 from 8:30 AM to 1 PM at Aspen Gym.

Kern County Public Health will partner with the Tehachapi Salvation Army for free health screenings and nutrition classes starting July 2, running every Wednesday through August 6.

As the Fourth of July approaches, Tehachapi will host several family-friendly events, including a 5K run, a pancake breakfast, and a day filled with activities at Central Park, culminating in a fireworks display at 9 PM.

Fiddler's Crossing will feature country singer Grant Malloy Smith on July 12, with tickets available at local outlets. Additionally, Cheers to Charity will host a fundraising event on August 9 in Aviator Park.
