Sandpoint Council debates fixed route versus demand response transportation amid budget cuts

The City Council of Sandpoint is facing significant budgetary challenges as it prepares for the upcoming fiscal year, which begins on October 1. During a special meeting held on June 25, 2025, council members discussed the necessity of operating on a balanced budget, which will likely require cuts to existing services.
