Incarnation Church begins milestone planning for centennial celebration in Glendale

A significant milestone was reached at the Glendale Planning Hearing on June 25, 2025, as Father Rodel Balactus, pastor of Incarnation Church, presented a vision for the church's future. The church is embarking on a master planning journey with Pika and Sullivan Architects, aiming to create a campus that meets the evolving needs of its community as it approaches its centennial celebration in October 2027.

Father Balactus emphasized the deep connection between the church and the city of Glendale, highlighting the legacy built over nearly a century. "Our vision is rooted in our deep connection to the city of Glendale and the legacy we've built together," he stated, underscoring the importance of this project for both parishioners and students.

Architect Joe Pika followed with a brief overview of the church's history, noting that the original building was established in 1927, with significant expansions occurring in 1937 and 1961. The current project aims to provide a multipurpose space that fosters interaction and spiritual growth within the community.

The presentation marks a crucial step in the entitlement process, paving the way for future developments that will serve the church and its congregation for generations to come.
