Residents of Romeoville will soon have access to vital community resources as the Village Board announced a free Community Resource Fair, set to take place in partnership with Nitecor. This event will feature various organizations offering assistance, including grocery provisions and bill assistance programs, aimed at supporting local families in need.

Scheduled for June 27, the fair will provide an opportunity for residents to connect with essential services at no cost. The Village Board emphasized the importance of such initiatives in fostering community support and engagement.

In addition to the resource fair, the board recognized the recent promotions within the police department, congratulating Deputy Chief Sekula, Commander Tuuk, and Sergeant Wagner.
